Ilona is a published author, mother of two, and former Certified Lactation Consultant, Childbirth Educator and Doula. She is passionate about mothers and babies and advocates that the birth and breastfeeding experience is just as important as a healthy baby.
Ilona speaks English, French, Spanish and Hebrew, and graduated from The University of California, San Diego (where she also obtained her Lactation Consulting certification). Ilona also has experience as a Certified Pre and Postnatal Fitness Specialist (AFPA) and is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (Lamaze) and Certified Neuro Linguistic Programmer (HMI).

Sassan Rafizadeh, MD, PhD, Co-Founder
Co- Founder Dr. Rafizadeh is an anesthesiologist currently at Duke University Medical Center. Sassan holds a doctorate in molecular, cellular and systemic physiology from University of California, Davis and is a recipient of the U.C. Davis Max Kleiber Research Prize for superior scholarly achievement. He has co-authored multiple publications in top-tier, peer-reviewed journals including Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), American Heart Association Journal-Circulation, and Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA).
